Pickup: An employee will be waiting for clients outside the Arrival’s Hall main building exit with a sign of the client’s name to drive them to the airport parking to pick up the car.
Drop off: Upon agreement at pickup, client should return the car to the airport private parking to which an employee of Alamo will be waiting to take and inspect the car.
You can save time at the counter when you activate Accelerated Check-in online. Just provide your driver's license and contact information that are normally collected at pick-up and we will be ready when you arrive. You'll be on the road and on vacation before you know it!
Picking up your vehicle after the location closes is easy with Alamo. After-hours Pick-Up might require you to follow a few additional steps, which you'll see in your confirmation email.
Returning your vehicle after the location closes is easy with Alamo. We'll tell you where to park it; just drop the keys in the dropbox and you're on your way!
Skip the rental counter lines and check in directly by using Alamo's touch-screen kiosk. Check-in using the kiosk and a receipt-sized rental agreement is printed. You'll be directed to your hire car on the lot. At the exit booth, show the booth agent your rental agreement and driving licence—and simply drive away.
No need to visit the counter or kiosk. You can go straight to your car!
In order to take advantage of this optional free service, you'll need to activate Accelerated Check-In online then choose the "Skip the Counter" option. You will be required to confirm your protection options, agree to the Rental Agreement Terms & Conditions and enter valid credit card details (there will be no charge until you return your vehicle). Simply print your rental agreement to bring with you, and you are all set! Go directly to your car, show the booth agent your rental agreement and driving licence—and get on the road!
Additional drivers must meet all renter requirements. Additional drivers can be added to the contract at any rental branch. The daily charge per additional driver is 4.00 EUR plus VAT & Apt. Fee.

The charge for the out-of-business hours service is €40 EUR excluding VAT & Ap. Fee, and must be paid at the counter.
The minimum age requirement to drive all vehicles is 23. There is no maximum rental age. A young driver fee of 12.40 EUR plus airport surcharges per day apply for all renters between the age of 21 and 22 wishing to rent the categories Compact, Intermediate, Standard, Full Size, Premium and Luxury, excluding commercial vans. The young renter fee does not apply to Mini and Economy vehicles.
This is an on-request service and is available in specific locations in Greece. Requires written approval five working days prior to the start of the rental. To arrange cross-border travel, please email reservations@enterprise.gr for written approval.
The vehicles can be driven in Andorra, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Gibraltar, Germany, Great Britain, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Monaco, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, San Marino, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and Vatican City.
Vehicles must be returned to the agreed station in Greece.
Surcharges apply and must be paid at the rental counter. The surcharges are 90 EUR plus VAT & Ap. Fee per rental, and 30 EUR plus VAT & Ap. Fee for each rental day for MINI, ECONOMY, COMPACT and INTERMEDIATE car groups. All other car groups are not available for cross-border travel.
The vehicles are covered by TPI as long as they are driven inside the borders of the country for which it is issued, and no other insurance is available for out-of-Greece rental. Roadside assistance while driving abroad is not available. The cost of repatriating the car to Greece is covered by the driver. A replacement car cannot be provided outside of the Greek borders.
If the rental lasts over one month, an additional surcharge of 90 EUR plus VAT & Apt. Fee must be issued at extra cost and 30 EUR plus VAT & Apt. Fee for each rental day.
Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) reduces the renters liability in the event of damage or theft of the vehicle when no responsible third party is identified.
If Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not included in the reservation, it is available for purchase at the rental counter. If Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not included in the rental or CDW is declined, the renter will be liable for the total cost of damages to the vehicle or the full value of the vehicle in case of loss or theft.
If purchased or included in the rental, the excess is 1000 EUR for the vehicle categories Mini, Economy and Compact, 1250 EUR for Intermediate and Standard vehicles, 1750 EUR for all Full Size vehicles and all Commercial vans, and 2500 EUR for all Premium and Luxury vehicles. The excess will be charged every time a vehicle is damaged, lost, not returned or stolen.
In case of damage or theft, an administration fee of 25.00 EUR plus VAT and the airport fee will be charged to the renter. This charge applies regardless of the party at fault.
Before purchasing Collision Damage Waiver (CDW), it is advisable to determine if the renter's personal coverage is adequate to cover damage, theft, loss of revenue, administration fees, diminishment of value, and any towing, storage or impound fees. If Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is declined, the renter will be required to pay these charges and to seek compensation through their carrier of personal coverage. Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) is not insurance.
This is an on-request service and should be requested for approval prior to your arrival at reservations@enterprise.gr. For deliveries and collections within a 15 km radius, a flat charge of 30.00 EUR plus VAT and surcharges applies and must be paid locally. For distances exceeding 15 km, an additional charge of 0.70 EUR plus VAT and surcharges per km applies, and must be paid locally as well. Restrictions for certain locations apply as follows:
From Athens branches to Piraeus Port: 30.00 EUR plus VAT each way;
From Athens branches to Lavrio or Rafina Ports: 80.00 EUR plus VAT each way;
From Rhodes branches to Rhodes Port or vice versa: 30.00 EUR plus VAT and surcharges each way;
From the Mykonos branch to Mykonos Ports or vice versa: 50.00 EUR plus VAT each way.
This is on request service and is available in specific locations in Greece. All rentals where the vehicle is not returned to the same location as it is collected will be subject to a one-way fee. One-way rentals must be requested at the time of booking. Unauthorized one-way drops will be charged at the end of the rental. The one-way fee must be paid at the rental counter.

Renters must return the vehicle with the same fuel level as at the time of pick up. If the vehicle is not returned with the same level of fuel the renter will be charged a refuelling service charge based upon the fuel used. Please contact the local branch for details.
Covers the driver of the vehicle for up to 15,000.00 euro in case of total or partial disability or death due to an accident while driving the rented car.

The driver is responsible, upon receipt of the car, for paying the rental amount and any extras purchased on the spot.
The guarantee amount is blocked on a valid credit card or debit card belonging to the driver or co-drivers mentioned in the contract. Please contact the local branch for clarifications.
At the pick-up, the guarantee amount will be blocked on the renter's credit card or debit card and will not be available for use until the end of the rental (not debited from your account). It will be released by the cardholder's bank after the end of the rental. It depends on the cardholder's bank when the amount will be released. We are not responsible for any insufficient fund charges or bank fees related to this process.

24/7 roadside assistance is available throughout Greece.
Exclusions: Exhausted battery jump-start, refuelling service in case of immobilisation of the vehicle due to accidentally running out of fuel, lost or damaged vehicle key, on-site assistance in case of tyre breakdowns, towing service, forced unlocking of the vehicle if the keys are locked inside the vehicle.
Contact phone number of the roadside assistance is indicated in the signed R.A. and/or provided by the rental agent at the time of pick-up of the car. It is recommended to contact the branch directly in the event of roadside assistance being required. If the driver drives the vehicle on non-tarmac roads and the vehicle is immobilised, the driver will be charged the cost of towing the vehicle from the roadside assistance.
This cover does not apply in case of violation of the Rental Terms and Conditions or if the wrong fuel has been added to the car. The replacement cost of the lost or damaged key will be charged to the driver.
All drivers must present a full, valid driving licence and a valid identity card or passport. All drivers must have held their full licence for a minimum of one year.
Renters carrying a national driving licence from an EU member state (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Holland, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden) or from Switzerland, United Kingdom, USA, Canada, Australia, Gibraltar, Norway, Iceland and Lichtenstein do not require an International Driving Permit.
All national driving licences with Latin characters issued by the following countries are accepted in Greece: Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahamas, Bahrain, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Brazil, Central African Republic, Chile, Congo, Costa Rica, Cuba, Ecuador, North Macedonia, Georgia, Ghana, Guyana, Indonesia, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Ivory Coast, Kazakhstan, Kenya, Kuwait, Kyrgyzstan, Liberia, Mexico, Moldova, Monaco, Mongolia, Montenegro, Morocco, Nigeria, Northern Ireland, Norway, Pakistan, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Russia, San Marino, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Serbia, Seychelles, South Africa, South Korea, Tajikistan, Thailand, Tunisia, Türkiye, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, Uruguay, Uzbekistan, Venezuela, Vietnam and Zimbabwe.
Renters carrying a valid national driving licence that has been issued by a state in which no international driving licence is issued (i.e. China) require a certified translation in English or Greek.
For all other countries, a valid International Driving Permit is required along with the national driving licence. Renters are advised to check whether local authorities require foreign drivers to present an International Driving Permit to avoid the risk of potential fines.

Covers third parties in the event of death or bodily injuries, including the passengers of the rented car (except the driver of the rented car), and the physical damage incurred to the vehicles of third parties.
Coverage limits:
a) Third Parties Bodily Injury up to €1,300,000 per person, per accident (except the driver of the rented vehicle).
b) Third Parties Property Damage up to €1,300,000, including passengers of the rented vehicle, per accident (except the driver of the rented vehicle).
